Friday scent of the day 8/28

Happy Friday and happy National Red Wine Day! Birthdays: Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Edward Burne Jones, Robertson Davies, Janet Frame, Rita Dove. RIP Tim Curry and Yayoi Kusama. Our community project for today: “the exception to the rule”...wear a fragrance that you love despite not generally caring for fragrances of its kind, or its brand, or its main note, or whatever...you come up with the rule and the exception. What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project. My plan for today was L’Occitane Immortelle de Corse, a favorite of Kevin’s. I did not think I would love it because I don’t usually love immortelle, but as it turned out it’s the only immortelle fragrance that has ever grabbed me...unfortunately, it was limited edition and I did not decide in time that I wanted a bottle. Regrets! I do still have a few drops but I cannot wear it today so I am commando, running late, and behind on everything (I have not read yesterday’s comments, and likely won’t be able to read today’s until tomorrow, we’ll see).
