An exquisite modernist cocktail lounge that serves perfume instead of alcohol
Source: Now Smell This
Stepping inside a Scent Bar is like patronizing an exquisite modernist cocktail lounge that serves perfume instead of alcohol. White walls, wood shelves, and exposed red brick add a minimalist industrial aesthetic. Bottles of every shape, color, and size, grouped by scent note, line the shelves within easy spritz reach. In keeping with Eastwood and Wright’s dictum of “no hard sell,” salespeople are low-key, but if you express interest in, say, notes of vetiver or almonds or old books, they’ll plunk down five bottles and enthusiastically describe them. — (Our own) Denise Hamilton on Adam Eastwood and Franco Wright's Luckyscent / Scent Bar.
